I plotted out the area around UWM on a map and just explored.  Prior to this assignment, I had never really explored areas such as the Cambridge Woods so in completing this assignment, I found a nice quite place to chill and do homework or whatnot.   This assignment lead me to actually stop and listen to the world around me instead of always having my iPod headphones in. The sanitation worker would walk the trash bins to the back of the truck where a lift would pick it up and dump the contents into the truck. The truck would then crush the trash and the driver would move on to the next home. I sat down to record and noticed an old torn plastic bag hanging in a bush right next to me.  When the wind blows you can hear the bag blowing in the wind.  If you listen, about half way through the recording you can hear a tiny fish jump over the makeshift damn in front of me. While under the bridge, you can hear cars passing above as well as a bike or 2 on the trail, riding through a puddle.
